Danny Schmid

Schmid started dancing at a very young age and initially completed his training as a tap and jazz dancer in Lucerne and Zurich. During several stays in London, Chicago, and Tokyo that followed next, he intensely studied with internationally renowned instructors. To this day, he does not miss any opportunity to improve his education, finding inspiration not only in tap and jazz but also making excursions into the world of hip-hop. His vast experience on stage includes countless performances, such as in the ensemble of the Stadttheater Luzern and as Dance Captain of the «Backstage Studio Tap Company». Danny also utilises his talent as a team coach in the classroom, as a patient and empathetic pedagogue, who includes each student and passes on his passion for dance with great empathy. It is therefore no surprise, that teaching children and newcomers is particularly close to his heart. As a full-time job, Danny Schmid works as an IT consultant on various projects in Germany and abroad.
