Cartier Williams and Yusaku Komori/ Summer Workshop 17 - 20 August 2017

CARTIER WILLIAMS, born 1991, is a hoofer, choreographer, filmmaker, and performer hailing from Washington D.C. He is one of the brightest rising young tap talents. When he was 10 years old, Cartier Co-Starred with Tap Legends Buster Brown, Jimmy Slyde, Dianne Walker, Peg Leg Bates, and Gregory Hines. With only 8 years old, he has performed for the U.S. President, together with Savion Glover. With his Dadaist productions «Rhythm-Refix» and «Peter & The Wolf» he gets international attention. Cartier Williams latest show «Zigitybop!» will be presented in Zurich on 16 August 2017.

YUSAKU KOMORI, born in Japan, is regarded as an international star. Only 27 years old, he has danced with some of the most renowned dance-companys in New York City. As guest soloist he shines in Bad Boys of Dance «Rock the Ballet» 2012-2013. His performances include «Avin Ailey II» New York City, «Nai Ni Chen Dance Company» New York City, «The Francesca Harper Dance Project» New York City. He is performing together with Cartier Williams in «Cartier Williams Dance Theater» since 2014..
