Lisa La Touche / Jason Janas, Tap Workshop June 2017

LISA LA TOUCHE is originally from Calgary, Canada. Lisa's career highlights include recent works with Savion Glover and his touring production, «STEPZ», and also performing with both New York's Off-Broadway and North American touring casts of «STOMP». 2016 she was performing on Broadway in «Shuffle Along». Lisa has produced and directed her own shows with her group «Tap Phonics». She is known as guest artist internationaly, and teaches at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and the American Tap Dance Foundation.

JASON JANAS is one of the most exceptional rhythm-artists of the USA. He began his rhythm tap career as a charter member of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble, followed by the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble und Tapestry Dance Company in Austin TX. He performed in Washington DC for Vice President Dick Cheney, and in Ayodele Casel's «Wonderland – A Tribute to Stevie Wonder» at the Apollo Theater in New York, Derick Grant’s «Imagine Tap» in Chicago, and he collaborated with Rasta Thomas («Rock the Ballett») for the production «Tap Stars» in Hamburg. He is invited to festivals worldwide. Since 2012 he has been a regular guest at backstage studio.
